Audit Preservation Standard is the ninth Parent Standard of ADIT® — Continuous
Audit & Evidence Governance Architecture™. It governs how audit evidence,
execution records, findings, responses, decisions, approvals, and governance
history are preserved throughout their complete lifecycle.

Audit Preservation Standard recognizes that an audit does not end when
corrective actions are completed. The long-term value of an audit depends on
whether its complete history remains preserved, accessible, trustworthy,
traceable, and independently reconstructable whenever future governance,
regulatory, legal, or operational review becomes necessary.

Audit Preservation Standard defines the governance conditions required to
preserve audit evidence, execution records, findings, responses, decisions,
